The ESG Landscape in 2026
Participants: Mark Williams, Head of ESG and Sustainability at GRAKOM

You will gain an overview of current legal and market requirements in the field. Mark Williams will provide an update on the EUDR’s stricter traceability requirements for paper- and textile-based materials, what producer responsibility and PPWR mean for the packaging sector, and how ESPR is starting to introduce new product design requirements—especially for textiles—that businesses need to address. At the same time, customer demands for simple but trustworthy ESG and CO₂ data are increasing.

 

Mark Williams is Head of ESG and Sustainability at GRAKOM, where he leads a team of ESG and environmental experts who help members translate ESG requirements into business value and competitive advantage. Mark has experience with ESG both as a consultant and in-house in private companies, combining strategic perspective with a hands-on, business-driven approach. He holds two master’s degrees and a mini-MBA in sustainable business development.

Søren Stemann Beck began his career in the industry in 1989 and has since held leadership roles at various agencies. Most recently, he served as COO and partner at Gorm x Envision, where he worked with graphic production, digital development, and AI implementation. Søren Stemann Beck is also a board member at Minh Graphic, a Vietnamese production company jointly owned by Gorm x Envision and the advertising agency Buchs.

Niels Rask har arbejdet i den grafiske branche stort set hele sit liv, de sidste mange år som ejerleder af et af Danmarks største tekstiltrykkerier, og var tidligere formand for FESPA Danmark. I dag er han selvstændig konsulent. Han er udlært Serigraf, og har arbejdet med effektivisering, automatisering og digitalisering i rigtig mange år. Hans tidligere firma var blandt de første til at indføre robotter i produktionen, automatisere skæring/færdiggørelse og som lavede deres eget digitale workflow.

Søren Peter Johansen has over 20 years of hands-on experience in concept development, project management, and implementation of robotics and automation solutions worldwide. He is currently a technology manager and robotics expert at the Danish Technological Institute (DTI), Robotics Division.

He has the latest knowledge on the application of robotics technology and the challenges involved in industrial implementation, based on countless visits to manufacturing companies and work with various brands of robots, vision systems, sensors, PLCs, pneumatics, mechanics, and PC program development.
